The Takeya Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker is a pitcher built to take tea from hot to cold in the same vessel. It comes in two sizes, 1 quart and 2 quart, with the lid and handle in Raspberry, Black, Avocado, or Blueberry depending on size. The body is clear BPA-free Tritan plastic, made to withstand the swing from near-boiling water to ice. The lid twists down to an airtight seal, and a fine mesh infuser hangs from it to hold loose leaf tea or tea bags.

Brew: Fill the pitcher halfway with hot water, lower the infuser, and steep for the time your tea calls for. Takeya's guide calls for 8 tea bags in the 2 quart and 5 in the 1 quart. Leave the lid unsealed while steam is venting.
Chill: Pull the infuser, sweeten if you like, fill the pitcher with ice, seal the lid, and shake for 30 seconds.
Cold brew: Fill with cold water, leave the infuser in, and let it steep in the refrigerator.
Store: Sealed and chilled, the pitcher keeps in the refrigerator upright or on its side.

We stock this because we sell tea from The Republic of Tea, and loose leaf needs something to brew in. This pitcher has no cord, no heating element, and no machine to descale. The 1 quart makes about four glasses and the 2 quart twice that. All parts go in the dishwasher.
