Mountain Greenery

Increasing the green below, the storm builds from the top down. Deep blue and grey washes stack in the upper two thirds of the canvas while the earth below refuses to go quiet on a sunny day. Dry red dirt gives way, greenery, sandy ground, and a thin edge of vegetation hold their color against everything the sky is threatening to do. This is the moment before the rain and the land knows it. The sky always wins eventually. It has not won yet. The wildflowers you see or plant are in here.
